Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima stated on Wednesday that President Bola Tinubu is resolute in tackling the numerous security issues facing Nigeria.
Shettima made this declaration in Kano while receiving a high-powered presidential delegation that came to console him on the recent loss of his mother-in-law, Hajiya Maryam Albishir.
Expressing gratitude for the visit, Shettima emphasized Tinubu’s genuine leadership and commitment to the nation’s well-being.
“No matter how long the night is, it must give way to the light of dawn. Granted, we are facing security challenges across this country, but the President is determined to redefine the meaning and concept of modern leadership and address the problem of insecurity facing the entire nation,” Shettima stated, as quoted by his spokesman, Stanley Nkwocha.
He called on all Nigerians to support President Tinubu’s efforts in addressing these challenges, highlighting the importance of unity in making the country work effectively.
Shettima also thanked the government and people of Kano State for their hospitality over the past three days, emphasizing that the focus is now on governance rather than politics.

We commiserate with you on behalf of Mr President, on behalf of the government, and on behalf of his cabinet and the whole federal government of Nigeria.”
