The Edo State Government has approved the formation of a new Governing Council for Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma.
In a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie, it was announced that the seven-member council will be chaired by Dr. Omo-Ehijele Odafen.
“The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has approved the constitution of the Governing Council of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma,” the statement read.

Ogie also detailed the council members, stating, “The council is made up of Dr. Omo-Ehijele Frank Odafen as Chairman, with Mrs. Patience West Erhabor, Tony Innih Esq., Prof. Anthony Ekata Ogbeibu, Prof. Sunday Ojeifo, Prof. Kokunre Agbontaen-Eghafona, and Clifford Imade Omozeghian Esq. as members.”
The official inauguration of the Council will be announced shortly.
