The Kogi State Government has proposed a N258.3 billion budget for the 2024 fiscal year, named “Budget of Consolidation and Continuity for Inclusive Growth.”
Governor Yahaya Bello presented the budget to the State House of Assembly, highlighting a 30.71% increase from the 2023 revised budget.

The budget, Governor Bello’s final one in office, addresses critical areas such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, environment, industry, commerce, technology, youth empowerment, sports, entertainment, culture, tourism, housing, IGR enhancement, and water and sanitation.
The Speaker emphasized the budget’s importance in addressing the state’s needs and governance challenges.
