Seun Kuti, popular Nigerian musician and youngest son of Afro-beat legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti has said he didn’t believe in the fact that there is a creator of the universe who would judge people when they died.
The singer stated this on Friday, during an interview with hip tv.
He further said he didn’t believe in the concept that someone could create him and didn’t like the idea of giving credit to the creator for creating human beings.
He also said if humans were his most priced creatures why were 80% of humans hungry?
Interviewer: “Did you believe in God?”
Seun replied: “No no no, I mean not in the perspective that people believe like he is watching over everybody, he will judge you when you die.”
The interviewer further asked if he believes there’s something responsible for the creation.
The musician said “No, I don’t think anything created the earth. Who wants to create this? I mean is somebody actually created this?, are we supposed to be given him credit for creating this.
“Like 80% of the human beings are living in hunger and we are supposed to be his most price possession. I don’t believe there’s God in the concept that people believe but there’s something but it’s not the way we were told that it is.”
