Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike has issued a resolute statement on the continuation of demolitions targeting illegal shanties within Abuja. Emphasizing his commitment to restoring order in the capital, Wike stated that these demolitions are part of a broader effort to reclaim public spaces and enforce urban planning regulations.
“We will continue the demolition of shanties, and nobody can suppress us,” he affirmed, underscoring his administration’s determination to tackle unlawful developments despite opposition.
