Victor Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda, has firmly addressed recent speculations about the Nigerian striker’s future, emphasizing that Osimhen is not a player to be “shipped away” to make room for others. In a clear statement, Calenda underscored that Osimhen has a lot more to achieve in Europe and remains fully committed to Napoli.
“Victor is not a package to be shipped far away to make room for new prophets,” Calenda stated. He highlighted that Osimhen, who recently renewed his contract with Napoli to the satisfaction of both parties, is focused on continuing his career in Europe, where he still has much to accomplish.
Calenda also reflected on Osimhen’s achievements, noting that the striker has made history with Napoli and has always respected the club’s decisions, even when significant offers were on the table. “He made history, and when there were major offers (also this year), we always accepted the club’s decisions,” he said.

The agent further emphasized the respect that Osimhen deserves, particularly following his recognition as the African Footballer of the Year and his 8th-place finish in the Ballon d’Or rankings. “Victor was elected African footballer of the year, 8th at the Ballon d’Or. There is a need for respect and balance,” Calenda concluded.
This statement from Osimhen’s agent puts to rest the swirling rumors about the striker’s potential departure, reaffirming his dedication to Napoli and his determination to continue excelling in European football.
