In an interview with Completesports.com, former Kwara United coach, Samson Unuanel, expressed his admiration for the Super Eagles’ striking prowess ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
He revealed that the team boasts some of the strongest attacking players in the continent, who are capable of causing sleepless nights for their opponents.
Unuanel specifically mentioned the likes of Victor Osimhen, Taiwo Awoniyi, Victor Boniface, Cyriel Dessers, Terem Moffi, and others as the key players who can lead the team to glory at the bi-annual tournament.

The Super Eagles recently wrapped up their qualifiers in style with a convincing 6-0 victory over Sao Tome and Principe at Nest of Champions, Uyo, Akwa-Ibom state.
The team’s top-notch performance was highlighted by a hat-trick from Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen, as well as goals from Ademola Lookman, Taiwo Awoniyi, and substitute, Samuel Chukwueze.
With this victory, the team finished top of Group A, ahead of Guinea Bissau.
According to Unuanel, the Super Eagles’ 6-0 victory over Sao Tome is a clear indication of what is to come at the tournament, as the team’s strikers are poised to give any team in Africa a serious challenge.
With the likes of Osimhen, Boniface, Awoniyi, Dessers, and Moffi leading the attack, the Super Eagles are confident of scoring goals and clinching victory at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
