In a stunning display of skill and teamwork, Gabriel Jesus led Arsenal to a 2-1 victory over Sevilla in the Champions League Group B match.
The Brazilian striker made a superb turn and assist that set up Gabriel Martinelli for his debut Champions League goal just before half-time.
Jesus didn’t stop there and outdid himself with a fantastic curling finish in the second half, extending Arsenal’s lead to 2-0.
Despite the home team’s best efforts, Arsenal managed to maintain their lead thanks to some impressive saves from goalkeeper David Raya, who has been under scrutiny lately.
Sevilla managed to get on the scoreboard when Nemanja Gudelj headed home from a corner kick in the 60th minute.
However, the Gunners held their nerve and managed to fend off the Spanish team’s relentless attacks.
Even though the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium was electric with excitement, Arsenal showed that they were in control of the game.

The Gunners’ victory, coupled with Lens’ draw against PSV Eindhoven, puts them in a comfortable position at the top of Group B, with a four-point lead over the third-placed team.
Arsenal needs to win their upcoming game against Sevilla on November 8 and hope that Lens beat PSV on the same night to qualify for the knockout stages.
However, the win came at a cost for Arsenal as Jesus limped off the field with a hamstring injury with only 10 minutes remaining.
Manager Mikel Arteta expressed his concern, saying, “He felt something in his hamstring, so we will see. Straight away asked to be subbed which is not good news.”
Despite being criticized for starting slowly in their previous match against Chelsea, the Gunners were speedy and aggressive from the start in Spain.
The pressure continued to build on Arsenal, especially after Jesus’ injury, but Raya saved again from Mariano.
The closest the home side came to an equalizer came in the fifth minute of stoppage time. However, Arsenal held on for a crucial win in what was arguably their most challenging Group B test.
