Arsenal and PSV played out a 1-1 draw in their final Champions League Group B game, with Eddie Nketiah scoring for the Gunners.
The two teams had already secured first and second-placed finishes in the group respectively, which led to both managers making a combined 13 changes to their starting lineups.
Arsenal initially struggled to find their rhythm in the game due to so many alterations in their team, but they gradually gained control of the match.
Nketiah put the visitors ahead with an excellent finish just before half-time.
However, PSV came back strong in the second half and quickly restored parity through Yorbe Vertessen.
The Dutch side continued to push forward and were the more impressive team on the night.
In the dying minutes of the game, Walter Benitez made an excellent save to deny Leandro Trossard a last-gasp winner for Arsenal.
Despite the draw, Arsenal had already qualified for the knockout stages of the competition, which meant that Mikel Arteta and his team could focus on returning to London unscathed ahead of a busy festive schedule.
All in all, it was a job done for the Gunners.
