Individuals seeking visas to the United States can expect a streamlined and efficient process, courtesy of the commitment of the Chargé d’Affaires, Mr David Greene, at the Nigerian Embassy.
During an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja, Mr Greene assured visa applicants that the mission is working tirelessly to address all visa-related issues and that concerns over visa availability will soon become a thing of the past.
Despite the current demand for visa appointments exceeding the supply, Mr Greene stated that the embassy has interviewed over 150,000 Nigerians this year alone, including 30,000 students.
The embassy is committed to ensuring that applicants in all categories receive proper consideration, and the recent implementation of a five-year term for visas is a testament to the embassy’s progress in addressing its backlog of visa applications resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.
