Tottenham Hotspur has secured the signing of 19-year-old French winger Wilson Odobert from Burnley for an undisclosed fee.
The young talent has inked a five-year contract with the north London club, marking a swift return to the Premier League after Burnley’s relegation last season.
Odobert impressed during his debut season in England, making 34 appearances and scoring five goals for Burnley. Notably, he became the Clarets’ youngest Premier League goal scorer with his goal against Chelsea in October.
The promising winger now joins Tottenham as they aim to improve on last season’s fifth-place finish and push for a top four spot in the Premier League. Odobert will don the number 28 shirt and could make his debut in Tottenham’s Premier League opener against Leicester on Monday.
