President Bola Tinubu has reassured Nigerians that his administration is committed to delivering tangible progress in key areas such as infrastructure development, food and energy security, education, and long-term economic stability. Speaking at a meeting with the Forum of Former Presiding Officers of the National Assembly, led by ex-Senate President Ken Nnamani, Tinubu emphasized that his leadership is focused on service, not personal gain.
“I didn’t come to look for money and exploit the situation; I came to work,” Tinubu affirmed, acknowledging the support of the ex-lawmakers and urging continued collaboration across party lines for national development.

Tinubu reflected on past governance lapses, particularly in the education sector and resource management, noting, “We neglected our communities… we forgot to educate our children.” He stressed the need for collective responsibility in addressing Nigeria’s challenges, while also focusing on improving infrastructure, compliance with financial regulations, and exploring alternative energy sources.
Senator Nnamani expressed full support for the president’s efforts, highlighting the challenges of insecurity, economic downturn, and infrastructural decay. He also praised Tinubu’s leadership on local government autonomy and pledged the group’s continued assistance in nation-building and ensuring a prosperous future for all Nigerians.
