President Bola Tinubu has revealed that the Federal Government will offer travel subsidies to alleviate the burden of transportation costs during the holiday season. This announcement was made in his Christmas message for 2024, where he highlighted the government’s commitment to making travel more accessible for Nigerians.

Tinubu explained that the government has arranged for free train services along with subsidized road travel across 144 routes throughout the country. “For those travelling during this festive period, I wish you safe journeys. Rest assured, the government is taking all necessary steps to ensure our transportation routes are secure and convenient,” he stated in his signed message.
