Bandits in Zamfara State kidnap six locals in the Gidan Kware community, Bungudu Local Government Area. The victims include two females and four males, and the bandits demand N10 million in ransom.
The community, facing a serious security problem, contacts security personnel who arrive after the bandits have left. Despite community efforts to raise the ransom, they struggle to meet the demand.
