Terrorists attacked a vehicle carrying passengers returning from an installation ceremony in Niger State, killing the driver and abducting eight individuals.
The incident occurred between Luma and Babana communities. The victims had attended the installation ceremony of the chairman of Borgu Kingmakers and Chief Priest Bakarabonde.
The terrorists burnt the vehicle and demanded a ransom of N17 million for the release of the abducted individuals. The Chairman of Borgu local government confirmed the incident and the ransom demand.
