Mr. Sylvanus Williams, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Shades Awards, has announced that the 2023 edition of the awards ceremony will celebrate hardworking entrepreneurs whose businesses add value to Nigeria’s economy.
The event is scheduled to be held on December 2 at the Nigerian National Merit Award House in Maitama, Abuja, and will be a formal-to-semi-formal occasion where trophies will be awarded to honour achievers in different fields.
In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja, Williams, who is popularly known as Sly Williams, explained that the award ceremony is aimed at honouring those who may not usually be recognized for their accomplishments.
He believes that this will make the awardees feel valued while also creating a platform for them and their brands to relate.

Williams added that the event is geared towards promoting a community of like-minded individuals where participants are opened to endless opportunities and possibilities.
It will also create profit opportunities for startups with adverts placement and brand positioning.
He called on all well-meaning individuals, philanthropists, private, government, as well as corporate bodies to come on board to ensure the success of the event.
The Shades event will guarantee the presence of kings and queens, royal fathers, top-ranking politicians, international business moguls, and civil servants, among others.
The entertainment enthusiast stated that the second edition of the Shades Magazine would be launched in February 2024.
It will contain all the memories of the 2023 award event, as well as the awardees captured in the edition, with all the blitz, glitz, and glam.
