Senator Osita Ngwu highlighted that Julius Berger had received over N18 billion for the project yet neglected to provide necessary details when summoned. The Senate has strongly condemned this behavior as contemptuous and detrimental to their constitutional oversight role.

To enforce compliance, the Senate has invoked its authority to issue a warrant of arrest for the Managing Director of Julius Berger, aiming to ensure their presence at a rescheduled hearing to clarify the project’s status and financial management.
