Reports have emerged that Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford missed training following a couple of nights out in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
The England international was spotted in Thompson Garage nightclub just hours before he informed manager Erik ten Hag that he was too sick to attend training.
Consequently, Rashford was left out of the squad for the FA Cup trip to Newport, with the club stating that he was unwell.
However, it appears that the real reason for his absence was his partying antics.
As a result, Rashford is set to face disciplinary action and will have to hold talks with Ten Hag.
The Dutch manager has confirmed that it is an internal matter and that he will deal with it accordingly.
The 26-year-old striker, who earns a whopping £650,000 per week, is expected to be fined two weeks’ wages as a result of his actions.
Despite his absence from training, Rashford was seen driving his Lamborghini to Carrington on Monday morning, which has further fueled speculation about his behavior.

Later in the week, Rashford was spotted in Lavery’s Bar, a popular spot in Belfast, ahead of his planned day off.
It is believed that he was in Northern Ireland to visit his friend and former academy team-mate, Ro-Shaun Williams, who currently plays for Larne FC.
However, Rashford’s night out didn’t end there, as he was also seen in Thompson nightclub on Thursday before leaving the following morning via a private jet.
This is not the first time that Rashford has found himself in trouble over his partying antics.
In December 2022, he was dropped from the squad for the game against Wolves after reporting late for training.
Although he came on as a substitute to score the winner, he publicly admitted that he had made a mistake.
Similarly, earlier this season, Rashford challenged Ten Hag’s authority after the manager labeled his trip to Chinawhite “unacceptable” following the defeat in the Manchester derby in October.
The incident comes at a crucial time for Ten Hag, whose authority at Old Trafford is already under scrutiny as Sir Jim Ratcliffe considers the changes he wants to make at the club.
