In the aftermath of a failed explosive detonation near Hotel Presidential along the Port Harcourt-Aba Expressway during a protest, the prime suspect now finds himself under tight security and medical care at the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH).

The Rivers State Commissioner for Health, Dr Adaeze Chidinma Oreh, confirmed that the suspect is currently in stable condition and receiving ongoing treatment.
