Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah put in a stunning performance, scoring twice in six minutes, but unfortunately, his team was not able to secure a win in a game filled with errors and missed opportunities at the Amex Stadium against Brighton.
Brighton had previously dominated Liverpool in their last fixture, claiming a 3-0 win, and the team looked to be continuing their impressive form in the first 40 minutes of the game.

Simon Adingra managed to steal the ball from Alexis Mac Allister and drive it past Alisson, who was out of position, giving Brighton the lead.
However, Brighton’s high-risk build-up play began to falter in the minutes leading up to half-time, and a loose pass from Lewis Dunk allowed Salah to level the game.
Liverpool then managed to secure a penalty with the help of Bart Verbruggen and Pascal Gross, which Salah confidently dispatched, leading to another impressive comeback from Liverpool.
Despite dominating play, Ryan Gravenberch missed a crucial opportunity to extend Liverpool’s lead, and Brighton began to stir in the closing stages of the game.
Eventually, they managed to score a deserved equaliser, with Lewis Dunk capitalizing on sloppy defending to turn home Solly March’s free-kick.
