The police officer involved in the shooting incident with movie director Azeez Ijaduade at Napoli Hotel in Iperu Remo, Ogun State, has been arrested.
Investigations have commenced into the incident where Ijaduade was reportedly shot in the neck during an end-of-year party.
The police received a report that the mobile policeman, attached to a Chinese expatriate, discharged a shot into the air, and the ammunition shell hit the actor.
Azeez Ijaduade is reported to be in stable condition in the hospital, and the Mobile Policeman’s identity has been established for ongoing investigations.
The Commander Mopol 16 has contacted the actor and visited him in the hospital.
