The Plateau State Government has eased the curfew in the Jos-Bukuru metropolis due to improved security and the positive conduct of residents. Starting Saturday, August 10, 2024, residents are now allowed to engage in lawful activities between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm daily, until further notice.
The decision, announced by the Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere, was made after thorough consultations with security agencies.
Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang authorized the adjustment to support citizens in continuing their economic activities while maintaining public order.

Governor Mutfwang expressed his appreciation to the residents for their patriotism and cooperation during these challenging times.
