Officers from the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) have dismantled a large illegal refinery operation in the Odagwa forest, within the Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The NSCDC spokesperson in Rivers State, Oufemi Ayodele, stated that the action is a part of the ongoing battle against crude oil theft in the nation.
“We are conducting this operation uncompromisingly. As I have mentioned, the NSCDC is relentless in its crusade against crude oil theft in Nigeria. This is a significant accomplishment,” he declared.
