A Dunamis Church located at Mission Ward North Bank in Makurdi, the Benue State capital has collapsed.
The church, which collapsed on Tuesday morning killed a pastor.
It was gathered that four individuals including the pastor were observing prayers at the church building before the incident.
The other three individuals escaped the wreckage.
Residential buildings and electricity infrastructure around the building were reportedly affected by the collapse.
However, the cause of the incident is still sketchy as of the time of filling this report.
Confirming the incident, the Benue State Police Public Relations Officer, Anene Sewuese Catherine, said “Only one person has been confirmed dead for now.”
