The Nigerian Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, announced that more than 40% of Nigerians are now receiving an average of 20 hours of electricity supply daily. This improvement in power distribution is attributed to various initiatives aimed at enhancing the country’s electricity infrastructure.
Adelabu stated that the government’s ongoing efforts to stabilize and expand the national grid have resulted in a significant increase in the reliability of electricity supply.
The minister emphasized the importance of ongoing investments and partnerships in the power sector to ensure that even more Nigerians benefit from improved electricity access.

Despite the positive developments, challenges remain, including issues related to the distribution network and the need for further investment in generation capacity.
