The Mighty Jets International FC of Jos is leaving no stone unturned in their preparations for the Nigerian National League (NNL) opening game against Yobe Desert Stars.
The club’s General Manager, Ferdinand Mbum, has left nothing to chance, charging his players and the technical crew to approach the fixture with the utmost seriousness and focus.
Mbum emphasized that the only thing that would count in the game was securing the three maximum points.
In a recent statement signed by the club’s Media Consultant, Jerry Udoh, Mbum expressed his confidence that the Mighty Jets could subdue their opponents.
He said that the game against Yobe Desert Stars would be tough, but he was optimistic that the team could do the job in Gashuwa and elsewhere.
Mbum noted that Yobe Desert Stars was a good team, but he advised his players not to show inordinate respect during the game.

He made these comments after the team trounced Pankshin Selected 6-0 in a friendly match played at the New Jos Stadium on Tuesday, as the team prepared for the NNL.
The Mighty Jets International FC Sporting Director, Vincent Yohanna, has also urged the players to give their all and earn a handsome reward.
Yohanna added that the club would fulfil its part of the responsibility by releasing all bonuses to the players whenever they delivered for the fans, starting with the opening game against Yobe Desert Stars on Saturday.
