The family of the veteran actor, Nkem Owoh, popularly known as Osuofia, has released details of the burial arrangements for his daughter, Kosisochukwu, who passed away on June 28, 2023, at the age of 24. The family has set the date for the burial ceremony as August 24, 2023.
In a heartfelt message shared on X (formerly known as Twitter), Owoh expressed his sorrow, saying, “It is a painful exit but God knows best. On Thursday, August 24, 2023, my daughter, Miss Kosisochukwu Nkem Owoh will be laid to rest.”
The family has issued a flyer containing information about the burial, which reads, “The family of Nkem Owoh (Osuofiasn) of Umunevo Owonta of Umungwu clan in Amagu village, Udi town, Udi Local Government Area, Enugu State, regret to announce the death of our daughter.”
The flyer further states that the remains of the deceased will leave the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital mortuary in Enugu and will be transported to her father’s compound in the Udi area of the state. The interment will take place immediately after the service.
Kosisochukwu is survived by her father, mother, brother, sisters, aunts, uncles, and other relatives.

The actor’s fans have been expressing their condolences to him during this difficult time.
One fan, Nnadume Chukwuebuka, wrote, “Take heart, Osuofia nwezigbo! May God grant your family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss and grant the soul of Miss Kosisochukwu eternal rest. Amen. My thoughts are indeed with your family, especially during this hard time.”
Another fan, Edward Daniel, wrote, “Please take heart and stay strong for your family.”
The family of Nkem Owoh has requested privacy during this time of mourning.
