On Monday, tech experts urged Nigerians to take advantage of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to make their lives easier. Justin Nwosu, Co-founder and CEO of Binnox, and Michael Nwankwo, Co-founder and CTO of Binnox, launched the Binnox app in Abuja and encouraged Nigerians to embrace AI to bridge the gap between customers and business owners, facilitate trade, and ensure customer satisfaction. The Binnox app is an AI-driven delivery platform available to connect people with local businesses to purchase products with ease.
Nwosu explained that Information Communication Technology (ICT) has been in existence for years and is continuously growing, hence the need to leverage AI now. He advised skeptics to use online platforms, such as Binnox, which provides security for products and financial transactions. With the app, Nigerians can purchase food, groceries, and other products from home and avoid the stress of visiting local markets.
To address the issue of trust, which has always been a challenge when buying products online, Nwosu said that the Binnox app has an AI that checks the behavioral patterns of businesses and riders to ensure that they are in the best conditions to deliver the products. This makes the app trustworthy and reliable.
Nwankwo added that one of the exciting technologies used on Binnox is the socket IO, which helps create a seamless relationship between customers, business owners, and riders. He called on the government to create an enabling environment for young entrepreneurs to do business, not just in terms of infrastructure, but also in economic policies. He stressed the need for grants and investment opportunities to empower young Nigerians to build the future of the country. By adding financial value to businesses and reducing unemployment through youth employment, Binnox has helped boost the nation’s economy.
