Charles Inojie, a renowned actor and director in the Nigerian movie industry, has expressed his deep sadness over the loss of his colleague, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu.
In a recent interview with Channels TV, Inojie described the death of the popular comic actor as an “irreparable loss” to the Nollywood industry.
Inojie further stated that Mr Ibu was an irreplaceable talent in the Nigerian movie industry, and that casting him alone was enough to make a movie a blockbuster.
He went on to highlight Mr Ibu’s unique ability to convey a million messages with just his facial expressions, body language, and gestures, without even uttering a single word of dialogue.
Inojie emphasized that such a talent was rare and would be greatly missed.
