A Lagos State Magistrate court On Monday granted singer Azeez Fashola, popularly referred to as Naira Marley, and Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu, known as Sam Larry, bail in the sum of N20m with three responsible duties.
CRUX NEWS recalls that on October 6, the duo were arrested and prosecuted for the alleged involvement in the events surrounding the death of Late Ilerioluwa Aloba fondly called MOHBAD.
Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun during the sitting ordered the defendants to submit their passports and report weekly to State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti.
“As part of the bail conditions, the defendants are to surrender their passports and make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department,” ruled Olatunbosun.
She also forewarned everyone to desist from trying to influence the case, adding that she would not entertain any interference whatsoever.
“Any attempts to contact me directly would be recorded and potentially disclosed in open court proceedings,” she added.
