The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume, has accused the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) of committing treason by allegedly shutting down the national power grid. Akume made this statement in response to the recent nationwide blackout that has caused significant disruptions across the country.
Akume asserted that the deliberate act of shutting down the national grid not only undermines the country’s stability but also constitutes a severe breach of national security.
