The Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Council, Hon. Muhammed Danasabe Muhammed, has been confirmed dead.
According to reports, the late Muhammad, who slumped at his residence was immediately rushed to hospital in Lokoja where he was confirmed dead at about 4:30am on friday.
“Doctors confirmed him clinically dead around 4:30am on Friday”, said a family member who craved anonymity.
Muhammad had been actively involved in series of political meetings at the State government house in preparation for the Saturday elections.
He is survived by his mother, wife and children.
