King Charles III left a private London hospital after a three-day stay for a procedure addressing an enlarged prostate.
The 75-year-old monarch, accompanied by Queen Camilla, appeared in good health as they waved to crowds. Buckingham Palace stated that Charles had rescheduled upcoming engagements for recovery.
The announcement of Charles’s prostate condition on January 17 marked a departure from the tradition of keeping royal health matters private.
Charles aimed to raise awareness about the common condition in men over 50.
His daughter-in-law, Catherine, Princess of Wales, also underwent surgery at the same hospital and was discharged to recuperate at home with Prince William and their children.
