America Sensational singer, Katharine McPhee’s “Hitman” tour in Asia with her husband David Foster, has been cut short as an unnamed tragedy befalls the family.
Unfortunately, due to an unforeseen emergency, McPhee will not be able to participate in the final two performances in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The news was shared via an Instagram post on Friday morning, with Katharine conveying her regrets and apologizing to her fans.
In the post, she explained that a tragic family event had occurred, and at least one of them needed to return home to be with their family.
Although she didn’t provide further details, she has received an outpouring of messages from fans and fellow celebrities offering their support.
McPhee and Foster are parents to a 2-year-old son, and it is unclear whether he was traveling with them on the tour.
It also remains uncertain whether David will perform solo to entertain the Jakarta crowd this weekend.
Despite the unfortunate circumstances, Katharine expressed her deep regret at having to miss the shows and her hope to one day return and perform for her fans in Jakarta.
