President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has suspended Halima Shehu as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the National Coordinator of the National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA).
Her removal from office comes barely three months after she was confirmed for the appointment by the Senate.
It was gathered that the NSIPA boss was suspended by Mr Tinubu on Tuesday over allegations of fraud in the organisation.

She was told to step down to allow a thorough investigation into the allegations against her.
In the meantime, the President has appointed Mr Akindele Egbuwalo as the acting coordinator of the NSIPA, pending the conclusion of the comprehensive probe ordered by Mr Tinubu.
Until now, he was the national coordinator of the N-Power program, and his new appointment takes effect immediately.
