The Special Adviser on Strategy, Mrs. Sarah Ajose-Adeogun, Performance, and Project Monitoring to Edo Governor Godwin Obaseki, has resigned.
Confirming her resignation on her Facebook page, Ajose-Adeogun, a former Senior Manager with Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (SPDC), stated, “l came, l saw and l conquered.”
Speculations suggest that the resignation may be linked to internal conflicts and power struggles within the Obaseki-led government in Edo State.

Ajose-Adeogun’s office was reportedly previously shut down by the Chief of Staff to the Edo Governor, Osaigbovo Iyoha, due to an incident where she allegedly refused to yield her seat in a commercial flight to Governor Obaseki.
This resignation follows the departure of former Chief Press Secretary to Obaseki, Andrew Okungbowa, about a month earlier.
