In a bid to support the less privileged amid rising economic challenges, Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has distributed over 1,200 bags of rice, each weighing 25kg, to women in Anambra State.
The initiative is part of a broader effort by the First Lady to alleviate the hardships many are facing due to current economic pressures in the country.
The rice distribution aims to provide immediate relief to struggling households, particularly women, who have been hit hardest by inflation and rising food prices.
The gesture has been welcomed by beneficiaries, who expressed gratitude for the support during this difficult period.
