Kidnappers have attacked the Nigeria Post Army estate in Abuja, kidnapping the wife and in-law of Barrister Cyril Adikwu while he managed to escape.
Gunshots were reported around 10:00p.m., prompting the estate’s management and army personnel to respond.
Despite the intervention, the kidnappers fled with the victims. Neighbors express fear and call for urgent measures to end such acts of violence.
A witness described the traumatic events, stressing the fear among residents throughout the night, with security measures being taken by the estate’s management and the subsequent arrival of army personnel.
“This is really traumatising because we could not sleep throughout the night due to fear of the kidnappers coming back. President Tinubu should please help Nigerians put an end to this barbaric act by the kidnappers.” he added.
