The executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ganduje Ward, Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State, have suspended Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman and former Governor of Kano State, from the party.
Haliru Gwanzo, the Legal Advisor of Ganduje Ward, along with other executive members, declared the suspension during a press briefing on Monday in Kano.
The reason given for the suspension is the corruption allegation involving a Dollar video, which is currently before the Kano State High Court, pending the outcome of the case.
The ward executives believe that Ganduje cannot remain a member of the party at the Ganduje Ward level with such an allegation, as it brings disrepute to the members of the ward.
