Tottenham Hotspur and Hadjuk Split announced that Ivan Perisic, the Croatia midfielder, has returned to Hadjuk Split on loan until the end of the season.
Perisic is a product of the Hadjuk Split youth academy and left the club in 2006 to join Sochaux.
He is now 34 years old and has been out of action since September last year after sustaining an ACL injury in his right knee.
However, he is hopeful of making a comeback soon enough to secure a spot in the Croatia squad for the upcoming Euros in Germany.
Perisic has an impressive career record and has played for some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Wolfsburg, Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan, and Bayern Munich, where he won the Champions League.
He is a versatile left-sided midfielder who has won league titles and domestic cups in Germany and Italy.

With 33 goals in 129 appearances for Croatia, Perisic’s most notable performance was in the 2018 World Cup final against France, where he scored a goal.
Perisic joined Tottenham in the summer of 2021 and has made a total of 50 appearances for the club, including six appearances in all competitions this season before getting injured.
Hadjuk Split has expressed interest in extending Perisic’s stay at the club beyond his Tottenham contract, which expires in June.
