Israel’s Foreign Minister, Israel Katz, has initiated what he describes as a “diplomatic offensive” against Iran in the wake of a significant Iranian assault on Israel.
“Today, I dispatched letters to 32 nations and engaged in discussions with numerous foreign ministers and prominent global figures,” Katz stated on Tuesday via the X platform, which was previously known as Twitter.
He has urged for the imposition of sanctions on Iran’s missile program and for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) to be designated as a terrorist organization.
Katz is of the opinion that these actions would serve to decelerate and debilitate Tehran.
“The time to halt Iran is now – before it’s too late,” he asserted.
Additionally, Katz has expressed that Israel’s diplomatic efforts against Iran ought to be complemented by a military counteraction to Tehran’s onslaught involving over 300 missiles, cruise missiles, and drones.

The Israeli and allied defense systems successfully intercepted the vast majority of the incoming projectiles.
The Israeli military command has indicated its unwillingness to let the substantial Iranian offensive on Saturday night go unreciprocated.
In response, Iran has claimed its actions were retaliatory, following a presumed Israeli attack on an Iranian diplomatic facility in Syria, which resulted in the deaths of two Iranian generals and five officers.
