The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has announced its willingness to purchase Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) from Dangote Refinery at any price, regardless of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company’s (NNPC) decision to do the same.
In a statement released on Saturday, IPMAN expressed its commitment to sourcing fuel from the Dangote Refinery as part of efforts to ensure fuel availability across Nigeria. The association emphasized its readiness to buy PMS at any rate set by the refinery, underscoring a determination to meet market demand without waiting for the NNPC’s involvement.
This decision by IPMAN comes amid ongoing discussions about fuel pricing and supply strategies in Nigeria, as the nation continues to navigate changes in the petroleum sector, including deregulation and evolving market dynamics.
