The Niger handball male team head coach, Yekini Adebayo, has expressed his determined and positive outlook ahead of the second phase of the Ardova Handball Premier League, which is currently ongoing.
He stated that the team is poised to reclaim its lost position and win the 2023 trophy.
Adebayo noted that his players are focused on their goal and have been working hard to emerge as the champions of this year’s league.
The team had previously won the league in 2018 and is eager to attain that status again.
Adebayo mentioned that his team is currently leading the table in the second phase and has won all six matches played so far.
“Tojemarine Handball Club” is the only team that the Niger handball male team sees as a rival, and they are set to compete against them on the last day of the competition.
The head coach is optimistic that his team will defeat their opponents and lift the trophy.

He added that he will continue to encourage his players to work hard and maintain discipline and dedication to attain their goals.
The team’s success in the first phase of the league has given them more confidence and motivation to win the competition.
The Ardova Handball Premier League, in its sixth season, has a new title sponsor, Ardova PLC, and will offer a preparatory subsidy of 500,000 naira to each of the 22 teams.
The winners of the male and female teams will receive a prize money of 2.5 million naira.
The second phase of the league, which started on November 14, is expected to end on November 25.
