Cyber criminals in the early hours of Wednesday, July 12 reportedly compromised the official website of the Ogun State Government.
According to New Telegraph, the website, www.ogunstate.gov.ng, was hacked in the early hour of Wednesday, July 12.
Checks on the website indicate that it has been taken over by “Aleister Crowley. Update your security. Greetings from Maldives,” which were the inscriptions on the website’s homepage at about 10:44 am.

When Tokunbo Talabi, the Secretary of the Ogun State was contacted about the incident, he said, he was not aware of the situation.
He, however, said prompt action would be taken on the development.
Talabi noted that “I am not aware, but I will inform the ICT head.”
