kidnappers, have attacked the palace of the Olukoro of Koro in Kwara State, Nigeria, killing the traditional ruler, Retired General Segun Aremu, and whisked away his wife and two others.
The incident occurred around 8: 45pm on Thursday.
The Kwara State government confirmed the killing and abduction, condemning the act and urging security agencies to swiftly apprehend the perpetrators.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq expressed condolences to the people of Koro and emphasized the commitment to bringing the culprits to justice.
Efforts to reach the state police command for comments were unsuccessful
