The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated the Super Eagles of Nigeria on their victory against Bafana Bafana of South Africa.
Sanwo-Olu sent his congratulatory message in a tweet he shared on his X handle few minutes after the match on Wednesday.
The governor prayed that the Super Eagles defeat their next opponent to win the AFCON trophy.
Sanwo-Olu’s tweet read, “We did it!!!! So proud of our Super Eagles for finding that extra tenacity to push through.

For now, we’re playing @asakemusik ‘s Amapiano for the rest of the week.” Nigeria’s performance in the AFCON has brought the Super Eagles to the final as they strive to secure their fourth AFCON trophy.
