First Federal Capital Territory, FCT’s first Minister minister, Chief Mobolaji Ajose-Adeogun, reportedly passed on Saturday, July 1, 2023.
He was aged 96.
The death of the business mogul was confirmed by a member of the family, Oluremi Ajose-Adeogun, in a statement on behalf of the family.
He became the Minister of the FCT during the General Murtala Mohammed military government and was responsible for the Master Plan of Abuja as the FCT minister.
Until his death, Ajose-Adeogun was the chief of Ita-Aladan, Obun Eko, Isale Eko, Lagos and he had a distinguished career at Shell Petroleum Development Company in manufacturing and real estate.
