The Rivers State House of Assembly chamber has been set ablaze.
CRUX NEWS gathered that some suspected arsonists threw an explosive into the complex on Sunday night around 9:25pm.
This is coming amid rumours of moves by some lawmakers to impeach the state Governor, Siminalayi Fubara of the Peoples Democratic party, PDP.
Meanwhile, over 17 security trucks and 4 Armoured Personnel Carriers (APC), have been stationed at the facility with over 50 Federal Security personnel mobilized at the complex.
