The popular 10-storey Mandilas Building, located on Broad Street, Lagos Island caught fire on Sunday
The Director, of Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Margaret Adeseye, who confirmed the incidence said that no casualty was recorded.
According to an eye-witness, at about 1:15pm, fire broke out at at a warehouse on the first floor of the building before spreading to other floors.
Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, Police, and other emergency responders were deployed to the scene to extinguish the raging fire.
At the time of filing this report, the exact cause of inferno is unidentified.
