Opeyemi Bamidele, the majority leader of the Senate, has announced that the federal government will pursue those sabotaging the country’s economy.
Speaking in Ado Ekiti, Bamidele emphasized that economic saboteurs making life difficult for Nigerians will face charges, prosecution, and punishment in the coming year.

He highlighted the government’s commitment to passing the 2024 budget swiftly, aiming for it to be at the President’s desk for assent on January 1, 2024.
Additionally, Bamidele mentioned plans for substantial investments in agriculture and efforts to harness the potential of solid minerals.
He supported the removal of petrol subsidy, stating that it benefits only a few.
